From the sun-splashed beaches of Big Sir to the grid-locked streets of downtown, Burnout Paradise destroys gaming convention, and delivers a completely seamless experience. The roads on the map are littered with fences to smash through, massive jumps, and alternate routes. Everything in the world is open from the start, and waiting for you to explore. This is what we call Freeburn. Loading and menus are gone. To start an event simply pull up at the lights, and press the L2 button and R2 button. The map shows you the start and finish points.
