Hello, everyone! I?m Molly Wood and welcome to the CNET Mailbag, the show where we answer ALL your questions, from the ridiculous to the sublime. And back again. Let?s get started with the MAILBAG Gadget of the Week. See, every year at the Consumer Electronics Show, we put on this Next Big Thing SuperSession, hosted by me, Tom Merritt, and Brian Cooley. And we?ve been doing it for years. But this year, for some reason, we got on the CES thank-you list, and both Tom and I received these lovely digital picture frames for our desks. Isn?t that cute? It?s so ... compact. Plus you can play fun games like, is that my baby or my cat? I love thank-you gifts, don?t you? Speaking of gifts, we got a great email from Tim and Kim, who sent us a picture of a blanket they made for their friend, for Christmas. I think you sticker fans will enjoy it: Nice, right? I?ll see if they take requests. Ok, in other email, Eric said, I heard its your birthday today so I wanted to say Happy Birthday born Feb 18, 1975! WOOO! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! LOVE YOU Dude. Eric. I love you too, man. But it?s not my birthday. Where did you hear that? Wikipedia? It was right last time I checked ? but hey, thanks anyway! I ate a cupcake, just to feel like it was my birthday. Brendan was one of many who said: i need your help i cant find my way to find the Cnet Store can you pls send me the link I have good news, everyone. After weeks of being hard to find, the CNET Store can now be found at store.cnet.com, or shop.cnet.com. I know, right? Easy. No stickers yet, but lots of t-shirts, mugs just like this one, custom iPods, and notebooks and stuff. Check it out. Justin had a question about CNET ? the building. He says: I recently visited "the city" (as I hear you locals like to call it), and wanted to check out the cnet building. Is it true there is free wireless internet for tourists like myself? Are there any other nifty cnet offerings when in the area? Maybe a place to buy stickers? Sadly, it was poring rain and navigating the streets from Market and 2nd on foot would have proven deadly. I'll be back soon though, and would love to see the building where you guys work your magic. It?s true, there is free wireless Internet available at CNET ? and actually, if you stay in the hotel next door, you can pick it up there, too. Just a tip from me to you. And you can avoid the weather and shop at the store online, because other than that ? it?s just your basic office building. Although we do have these really big screens in the lobby where you can sit and watch our shows. Speaking of CNET, a lot of people work here, and do videos, and it?s great when they get noticed. For example, Danny says: David Carnoy is awesome and I believe he doesn't get enough praise. I also like how he has different photos that makes me question his age. It was him that told me to get my beloved Shure E4c! If I had an older brother, I would use a mixture of David Carnoy and the Awesomeness of Jake Gyllenhaal to make an even awesomer older brother. David Carnoy! Right on! In eagle-eyed viewer reports, Alex wrote to Brian Cooley to ask: I'm not sure what song you were listening to during your review of the 2009 Altima Hybrid, but on Image 7 of 13, it says "HOLY SHIT" on the radio! I think it's funny, but I'm not sure if you knew that was there. Ha! I asked Wayne Cunningham, who put together the slide-show, and he said he doesn?t know what song that was, but they were listening to the Sirius XMU channel. There is ? actually a band by that name. You can find them on MySpace, if you, you know, care to. Moving on, kl was not impressed with a recent Top 5. He or she writes: Hey Molly, "Coolest Movie Robots Ever" ???!!!! as a feature headline? You guy's have way too much time on your hands. C'mon Merrit, plug in! - there's certainly more to be doing these days than promoting disposable consumerism and kitsch. I think ? we just ? thought it was fun. But thanks for keeping us on track, there, buddy. And finally, in a recent episode, we gave some tips on improving HD playback, including going to full-screen. Emily writes to say: Just wanted to let you know that switching to full screen mode and turning on HD makes streaming CNET TV video run much smoother than turning on HD in regular viewing mode.
