>> This concept is called the "Ford Iosis Max," kind of a mouthful. But it's really the next Ford Focus, and a huge bet for the company. Clearly cut from the cloth of Ford or Europe, yet it will be sold in the United States as well, with some changes. But if this styling mostly holds up, it'll go a long way toward reducing consumer feelings that small equals dorky. The avant-garde interior can be disregarded. That's pretty much show car stuff. But what will be real is turbocharging, direct injection, auto stop technology, intelligent alternator to reduce drag, and most excitingly, a dual clutch automated manual gearbox, new for Ford. The Iosis comes to the US in some form as the 2011 Focus. ^M00:00:59 [ Music ]
