>> According to Ford, that is their most important car since the Model T yikes. And they better get it right. It's the new Ford Fiesta. In particularly, the one behind me is the Ford Fiesta Echo Netting [phonetic spelling], the super lean, super green one, 1.4 liter, turbo diesel engine, little tiny guy, only about 68 horsepower, but we're talking a car that will deliver almost 70 miles per gallon in Europe. More like mid 60's if it was a US test but still that's eye-popping mileage. This car's not coming to the U.S. just yet--European launch right now but Ford has said publicly, more of their small cars are gonna come from Ford of Europe and make their way to the U.S. By the way some other tricks they use to get that mileage sky high includes slippery aerodynamics, and relatively narrow, low rolling resistance tires. None of that makes for a really ballsy looking car, but if we get to five dollars a gallon will you really care?
