Hey, I'm Donald Bell and today I'm going to show the easiest and fastest way to fill in missing album art in your iTunes library. We all have songs in our collection that may appear in your iPod, your iPhone give that lean generic album cover. The problem is you can never remember what songs those were when sit back in your computer and you wanna go and fix them. So, here's the trick, go the file menu in iTunes and select new smart playlist. For the first condition, make sure that media kind is set to music. Next, create a rule where it has artwork condition is set to false. Hit okay and now you've got a listing of all the songs in the library that are missing album art. Now, to fix up these songs and give them album art, first, see if iTunes can do it automatically. Select all the tracts in the list, hit it to the advanced menu and select get artwork Itunes will scan your library and fill on all the artwork that can automatically remove those songs from this list. For the song that are left ove5, you can click on any tract, select get info and drag a google image searches for the artwork into the artwork tab. By doing this for each individual song is kind of tedious. Instead, sort by album and select all the albums tracts once and then write click to get info. Drag the artwork out of your browser. Hit okay, and you can update all the songs at once. Now, one last trick, if all the songs that are left over on your list are just are a random assortment of free me freebie downloads, dj mixes and other odds and ends, you just kill them all with one fun image and be done with it. Do a select all and all the remaining songs in your playlist. Write click to get info and drag any image you like into the artwork square.
