-During my career, I've seen the industry move from the point where we made single transistors to the point where we now make memory chips with 250 billion bits on them and sell them for about the same price. The cost reductions have been phenomenal, and that's what's really allowed electronics to enter everybody's lives and personal computers, PDAs, cellphones, and so forth.
