>> And this is the Etymotic research, EtyBlu Bluetooth headset. It is one of the very few Bluetooth headsets that Etymotic does. Etymotic Research makes very high-end premium headphones. And this is one of their first bluetooth headsets. As you can see it's a very iconic in-ear style ear bugs. It's a very slim, stylish look. On the front you get a simple multifunction button, right there. And on the side, you do get the volume rocker. On the back of the headset, you do get the Etymotic style in-ear ear bug. And it fits really deeply in the ear, almost uncomfortably so. However, it does fit very securely in the ear. Because it fit so deeply in the ear sound quality was really good, because your caller's crystal clear, just loud and fine. However, they couldn't really hear us too well, unless we included the extended boom mic right here. However it does look a look odd wearing the boom mic like this. The Etyblu also comes with an array [assumed spelling] of different size ear bugs, as well as an optional foam insert. This is an optional windshield cover that you can put over the extended mic to block all additional wind noise, but it does make it look pretty ridiculous. The good: The Etymotic EtyBlu is a great Bluetooth headset with a very secure fit and an extendable boom mic for additional noise cancellation.
The bad: The Etymotic EtyBlu's ear tip fits very deeply in the ear, which can be uncomfortable to some people. Overall sound quality was mixed, with static blips and low outgoing volume.
The bottom line: Even though we had minor issues with the fit and sound, the Etymotic EtyBlu is an excellent Bluetooth headset overall.
