Epson WorkForce 635 Video Transcript

Small offices shopping for a doodle printer should pay attention to this all in one from Epson. I'm Justin Yu, associate editor for CNET.com, this is your first look at the Epson Workforce 635 multifunction printer. Epson continues to prove itself as the fastest printers in the market and this machine cannot only print, fax, and scan, but it also does it all in record time, beating up the competition in all of our document printing tests. So aesthetically, the Workforce 630 can fit comfortably in tight spaces thanks to its compact design and paper trays that all fold flush into the unit. On the front, you get a 2½-inch LCD screen that you'll use to control the printer and scroll through your on-screen menus. Just above the control panel, you get a fully functional scanner and a 4-ink cartridge bay underneath for separate black, cyan, magenta, and yellow cartridges. Individual cartridges are a sign of a cost saving printer since you don't have to replace the entire system every time a color runs out. The 635 also bundles work friendly features like an auto document feeder on top here for scanning stacks of paper and a built-in 802.11 bg wireless print server as well as an Ethernet port on the side that lets you connect multiple office computers via network. Epson has a history of turning out really fast prints and the Workforce 635 is no different. It dominated the 4 competitive printers we put it up against with the exception of the photo print speed test and even then it printed a pretty quick 1.3 full color photos per minute. You can also rely on the 635 to deliver a high quality professional document for your next client meeting or internal memo, and the internal driver settings lets you choose the best quality mode from simple text all the way up to best photo, but just keep in mind however that the best mode also uses the most ink so select the economic route if you want to save money. We fully recommend the 635 for offices at work or at home and you can read all the details and the full review on cnet.com, but that's gonna do it for me. I'm Justin Yu. You just took a first look at the Epson Workforce 635 multifunction printer. Thanks for watching.

Epson WorkForce 645

Although the Epson WorkForce takes its time printing snapshot photos and graphics-heavy documents, this office-capable device earns my approval with affordable inks and cloud-printing features.

Epson WorkForce 310

The Epson WorkForce 310 is a cost-efficient all-in-one printer that gives you five separate ink cartridges with an automatic document feeder and a detailed control panel. The Epson Workforce 645 is a copier, scanner, and fax machine all in one device at only $150

Business shoppers and home users alike should check out this printer. Its cloud-printing features, double-sided prints, and the auto-document feeder on top make scanning and copying really easy. And its output speeds are impressive, too.

Epson's latest all-in-one outdistances the competition

Cloud access, Wi-Fi connectivity, and an external USB port in addition to the company's mobile printing app make the Epson WorkForce WF-2540 a good fit for smaller work-groups and start-ups with moderate printing needs.

Epson WorkForce 840 All-in-One Printer

The Epson WorkForce 840 costs a bit more than the average all-in-one inkjet, but its strong performance and long list of features more than justify its price and CNET's Editors' Choice Award.

Epson Artisan 800

The Epson Stylus 800 produces impressive color prints, photos, and text documents, and it outpaces the competition in almost all of our speed tests. We're impressed by its performance, but hesitate to recommend this printer based on the poor build quality and error prone software.

Epson Stylus CX4600

Quality printouts and useful standalone functions trump the flawed design and slow speed of this affordable multifunction, which is a good deal for a home or a modest office.

Epson Stylus Photo R380

The Epson Stylus Photo R380 offers a wealth of fun features and great print quality, making it a smart choice for amateur photo hobbyists.

The Epson Stylus NX515 is a capable machine that will improve the efficiency of any office or work-at-home setup. Not only is it a lightning-fast all-in-one, but it also has a broader range of features than most other $150 AIOs. As long as you don't need a full creative software suite, the Epson Stylus NX515 will make a dependable sidekick to your computer.
