Ep. 102: We've got the Droid Video
It was a crazy week in cell phone land, what with the Droid Razr and the Galaxy Nexus making their worldwide debut on the same day. And it's not over yet, as Nokia and Microsoft have an announcement of their own coming up this week. Is there such a thing as too much of a good thing? We also talk about the latest Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system and all the latest reviews.
Finally, the Nexus One gets a new OS update that gives it multi-touch. The update also brings 3G connectivity improvements and access to Google Goggles. We also discuss the latest Android news like the Motorola Devour from Verizon Wireless, a possible new direct-from-Google phone from Motorola, an AT&T 3G version of the Nexus One, and a couple of new Android phones from HTC. Some non-Android news include the latest Sony Ericsson Aspen and the RIM BlackBerry Tour 9650. Then we go over our week's reviews and answer your questions.
The T-Mobile G2 is coming! Uh, about time. Plus we discuss the Nokia N8, the viability of Symbian OS, and the titular phone, the Samsung Epic 4G. We also review the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10, the Motorola Droid 2, and more.
It's our five-year anniversary today, and wow, is that a long time. We've been here longer than the iPhone (rumors of a Verizon phone announced in June), almost as long as it took the U.S. House to ask the FTC to investigate Google Buzz, and about how long it will take Verizon to actually deliver the Android 2.1 rollout to Droid users.

The Sony Ericsson W880i is a decent multimedia cell phone, but we couldn't get past the poorly designed controls.
