>> There is a God in your Windows 7 machine, and you can make him do your bidding with this quick Windows 7 hack. Hi, I'm Seth Rosenblatt for CNET, and in this how-to, I'll show you how to activate GodMode in Windows 7. GodMode is a simple folder naming trick that allows users to access all of Windows 7's settings from one place, and it's an easy trick to do, too. Go to any folder you want in Windows 7 -- I've chosen my root directory -- create a new folder and rename it with the following string: godmode.{ed7ba470-8e54-465e-825c-99712043e01c}. Once it's renamed, the folder icon will change to the control panel icon. Inside, you'll find every system setting could want, from the action center messages in autoplay to mouse settings and personalization to user accounts and Windows update. Your data-rific God powers will be limited to improving your own computer and not slaying the firstborns of other PCs. Still this is a pretty cool hack that should make customization one-stop shopping in Windows 7. For CNET, I'm Seth Rosenblatt. ^M00:01:40 [ Music ]
