>> You know, the latest wrinkle these days is Bluetooth connecting your portables to your car. No more stupid wires, no iPod connector, no AUX jack, all those damn cables you snag and, and trip on. Instead, it's all wireless. But there's one thing that isn't wireless yet, the power. You still need a connector for that. But not for long, check this out. Here's an example of a dongle you can add to an iPod, there it is. And when I put it in the little cubby here in the dash, no wires, no plug, check it out. The charging indicator is on, how did that happen? Because down there in the bottom is a wireless charging pad, using e-coupled technology, in this case built by Vistion. Now this isn't on the market just yet. But when it is, it's gonna allow you to either go aftermarket, roll your own, have a dealer install the system, or have it built into a new car so that there'll be a charging bay. It could be here in the console, it could be the cup holders, it could be in the armrest, it could be anywhere in the car frankly. So it's easy to make it flexible. Now this could be the last frontier in going wireless, cordless, totally mobile with our portables in our cars. Again, 2009 will be the earliest it arrives, maybe a little bit later than that, factory built in. A few hundred bucks is probably the price point, so look for this as the next final wrinkle in the portable car marriage.
