>> Hey everyone it's Jeff [inaudible] here again with another Quicksilver quick tip. So let's say you want to e-mail the latest version of that TPS report you're working on to your boss Bob. It can be pretty tedious to open up mail, select a new mail, find the file, attach the file, then find the contact you want, and then hit send file. Okay, maybe it's not a lot of time but rather than taking a minute to do it, why not just take a few seconds. We all know that Bob is going to want some revisions to that TPS report, so you're gonna be doing this a lot all day anyway. Now this only works if you have mail set up on your Mac as your default e-mail program. So launch Quicksilver by pressing control space, then go to preferences and in the "plug ins" tab, check the box next to Apple Mail and Apple Address Book. Close out of these preferences which will then allow Quicksilver to interact with your computer's contact list and Apple Mail. Start Quicksilver again by hitting control space and then search for the file by either typing the name of the file or the location of the file, and then navigating over to the appropriate file. Press tab and Quicksilver will open up a second pane in which you're gonna type "e-mail". Then press tab again and Quicksilver will allow you to search your address book, so just type in Bob and hit enter. Your e-mail should then be on its way. In the Quicksilver preferences you can change the default subject and body later on. I'm Jeff [inaudible] and this has been another quick tip on using Quicksilver. Thanks for watching. ^M00:01:42 [ Music ]
