>> Hey folks, Brian Cooley here in an '09 Land Rover LR2 to give you a quick how to and how to enter and manage destinations on the navigation system. Now, this navigation system is standard on the LR2 and found on many Land Rovers and some Jag products as well. So, all you English car drivers listen up. This may apply to you. Touch screen, navigation is one of your only choices on this guy, so it's easy to start going. Right at the top there is your guide destination entry that's easy. Address of course is the most common way you are going to enter things and typically you'll start with house number. And then to narrow it down, I like to go to city first and that makes the street itself much less ambiguous. And once your destination is in there, tell it to start searching and notice you will frequently get route choices on this vehicle. You can find up to three of them. That button right there will bring them up. Now depending how far you are going they maybe the same route like it is for us, but for longer trips, you'll have choices of mileage versus time versus type of road. Select the one you want if it's not the default and press start to get navigation going. Now, to add a waypoint, a stop along the way, go back to your menu here and here's where you find your options for your route. Destination and Waypoint is on the second tier and here's where you hit add. Again, we'll use an address, but you can also use a point of interest or your previously navigated place and once again you know the logic for entering an address by now. Waypoint, now it's added in and you can put in five waypoints total for any given trip or routing direction. Now, if you are underway and you want to stop going to that destination, you get the damn thing to stop guiding you there and interrupting your music by constantly talking to you, go to route options and then hit Cancel Guidance, pretty simple, two-click and then just confirm that with a Yes. Your guidance is wiped out. Now, if you want to have navigation on screen only and not get those annoying music interrupting verbal prompts, that's what auto voice guidance off will do. Simple toggle right there, press it 'till it's red and the car won't talk to you. It will just show you on the screen what to go. So, those are your basic steps for entering, managing destinations, canceling guidance and turning off the annoying voice for the navigation system here on this '09 Land Rover LR2 and similar Land Rover and Jaguar products. ^M00:02:19 [ Music ]
