>> Hey what's up guys, it's Brian Tong with CNET here at CES 2008. We're here at the Delphi booth and what we have here behind me is the Delphi Infrared Side Alert system. So what you can see is on the taillight there'll be an infrared temperature sensor here and what it looks for is changes in the temperature. So it will find a base and if anything passes by like a bicycle, a car, a person, this sensor will set off and in your rearview mirror over here, you'll see an icon that pops up in the corner that tells you that there's an object there. Now you won't be able to find this technology anywhere in cars today, but they'll be going into production by the end of this year. I'm Brian Tong with CNET here at CES 2008 and there you have it a First Look at the Delphi Infrared Side Alert System. ^M00:00:42 [ Music ] ^M00:00:45
