Hi, I'm Rich Brown, senior editor for CNET.com. Today, we're gonna take a look the new Dell Inspiron One 2320. It is a 23-inch touch screen, a core i5 CPU, a 2 terabyte hard drive, blu-ray player as well as a discrete graphics card. The next is a pretty solid configuration for its price. Now, the big competition for this system is actually a Lenovo All-in-One, that kind of kills it as a performance gaming PC, but fortunately Dell has a DECT system out with enough media connections that actually makes it a pretty compelling home entertainment kiosk. So, this is a nice looking 19 x 10 touchscreen. We found this pretty responsive and we like with Dell 'cause it's stage UI. It's a pretty simple touch interface that is a few apps that come with the system. The Dell has added on a scroll bar here. You can also add shortcuts yourself like we've done here with Rage and we would recommend playing that with touch, but at least it's an easy way to launch the game. Now for its hardware features, this isn't as a pretty assortment. We've got the basic web cam up here, there's a big speaker bar on here at the bottom and comes with a wireless mouse and keyboard. On the right side of the system, you get basic controls for screen brightness, volume as well as audio inputs and outputs, USB 2 ports, and SD card slot. Now we're here on the right, you've got the 3-disc blu-ray player and down here you've got the button that lets you swap between video input sources, and the system really shines when you actually get to the ports on the back. You've got an HDMI input, a VGA input as well as a composite video input. That gives you different options for connecting all kinds of devices. You can add a game console, cable box. You can run a second computer into the system. You can connect an old VCR. There is a lot of flexibility here and it really makes the system a versatile member of your home entertainment setup. On the back, you have a basic set of USB inputs, there's an audio output, VGA output as well as a TV tuner. A TV tuner is useful. Again, that's the multimedia flexibility. VGA is also nice because it lets you connect the second monitor to the system. You may also like a digital video output, say DVI or HDMI, but overall VGA is flexible enough that if you add the red adapter, you can connect this to pretty much any standard CRT or LCD monitor and there's a few other features along with the digital video output we might like to see in this PC. USB 3 would be nice, a faster CPU wouldn't hurt either, but overall it's really well rounded and for its price, it's kind of hard to complain. So, I'm Rich Brown, this is the Dell Inspiron One 2320.

Dell's 17-inch Inspiron E1705, when properly configured, is a reasonably priced strong performer that gets the job done for home users who want a large desktop replacement that can handle both multimedia and gaming.

Dell's Inspiron 17R SE packs high-end components
Dell's Inspiron 17R SE packs reasonably high-end parts into a budget-feeling chassis, saving a few hundred dollars or more over similarly configured laptops.
On certain tests, Dell's off-the-shelf Inspiron 530s comes out ahead of its slim-tower competition, but its situational performance edge isn't dramatic enough to overcome its underwhelming features. You can find cheaper systems that might be a tick slower on certain tasks, but on balance they'll let you do more.
PC vendors have very few tricks remaining to differentiate their systems from the competition, which makes the built-in Bluetooth in the Dell Inspiron 530 unique. There's little else that makes this system stand out, but if you need Bluetooth in your budget desktop, we can recommend no other.
