"Good To See You Again, Alice Cooper" DVD trailer
"Good To See You Again, Alice Cooper" is one of the great lost rock films. The movie, which captures the original band lineup in the middle of the legendary 1973 Billion Dollar Babies tour, has never before been available on home video or DVD. Shout! Factory is proud to present the original cut of the film (including skits featuring the band) which was given a very limited theatrical run?mostly at midnight screenings?in the mid-?70s. This is the early cut, predating the Holywood version. Now available for the first time since the theatrical release, Good To See You Again, Alice Cooper boasts a new high-definition film transfer as well as a new Surround Sound mix created from the 16-track master tapes, plus a multitude of extras, including movie-length commentary by Alice himself. ?The film that out-grosses them all??as it was originally billed?is back, looking and sounding better than ever. St. Vincent: "Jesus Saving, I Spend"
Directed by Bucky Fukumoto and Andy Bruntel with the Directors Bureau, "Jesus Saves, I Spend" is a sort of quirky, intelligently filmed interpretation of this song.
With one foot in the early roots of her career as a "dance artist" and the other foot planted firmly into the sound of "future disco", Madonna returned to the clubs with a vengeance when CONFESSIONS ON A DANCE FLOOR was released by Warner Bros. Records on November 15, 2005.
Recorded in London, Confessions features songs primarily co-written and co-produced by Madonna and Stuart Price, producer, mixer and DJ-supreme ( Les Rythmes Digitales, Jaques Le Cont). Price was Madonna's musical director on her 2002 Drowned World Tour and last summer's Reinvention Tour. Additional producers and co-writers include Henrik Jonback, Grammy Award-winning team Bloodshy & Avant, and Anders Bagge + Peer Astrom from Murlyn Music collective. In addition Mirwais Ahmadzai, the producer of Madonna's last two albums American Life and Music, contributed two songs and co-produced one track. The song "Jump" was co written by previous Madonna collaborator, artist, and producer Joe Henry (Don't Tell Me).
Dave Stewart and Sinead O' Conner:
Check out this behind-the-scenes footage. The song was originally co-written by Dave Stewart and Sinead O'Connor. Dave talks about how the song was created, as well as other endeavors with Sinead.
