>> Hey, I'm Tom Merritt at CES 2010 taking a look at the Boxee Box by D-Link. If you know about Boxee, you know it's a great way to get your video off the internet and watch in on your TV. I use it at home. It's a great way to watch Hawaii Five-O. But now they've teamed up with D-Link to sell you a box so that you don't have to worry about hooking up your laptop or your computer or anything like that. You can just put this in the entertainment center and take advantage of all the great video you can get through Boxee. It is a little weird form factor here, this kind of off-center box. A lot of people have talked about that, whether it's gonna fit nicely with all your other flat appliances. But where it counts, it's got good stuff. SD card slot and two USB ports allow you to expand storage, so if you want to store some videos and files on here, you can do that by that extension. There's no on-board storage except for what's used to buffer the streams. It does have HDMI out and optical out for your audio, also RCA audio if you don't have an optical in on your TV or your stereo system. Ethernet and 80211N inside for you to get your Internet connection. I recommend Ethernet because whenever I do wireless on anything like video, it always seems to be a little choppy. But it's good that you have both options. The other cool thing that they just announced at CES is the remote. So it's a very simple almost Apple-like remote with the buttons on the front. But as you know, with Boxee, you can do searches. So you may want to use a keyboard to enter those searches and you don't have to use the on-board keyboard. It has a full QWERTY keyboard on the back here that you can use as well. Pretty nifty design. They're hoping to ship it early Q2 and have it available for around $200.
