>> Camera ball, iPhone games, and musical waterbeds, plus our hostess with the mostest, Miss Erica Ogg -- say hi.
>> Hello.
>> All that and more on this week's Crave. ^M00:00:10 [ Music ]
>> All right, guys. We're here at Crave, your place for all things trendy, quirky, and cool in the tech world. And I'm joined with CNET's own, Erica Ogg. And Erica, can you tell everybody, you know, what you do here?
>> I'm a reporter for CNET News.com, and I also write for Crave.
>> So if you check out our Crave blog, where a lot of our items come from at crave.cnet.com, you can see some of Erica's work, right?
>> Mm-hmm.
>> Okay. So you guys know what we do. We just like to talk about everything cool on Crave. So what did you come loaded with?
>> Okay. So the one thing that I saw that was really cool, and that you can't buy it, but it's called the "Toss Palm." And it's basically a plastic ball, what looks like a giant eyeball on the inside.
>> Oh. Weird.
>> It's a camera. The idea is for photographers to kind of get a more relaxed kind of feel from their subjects. So there's pictures of a lot of people going like -- yeah, like that.
>> If I, like, threw this ball at you, like... ^M00:00:54 [ Sound of ball being thrown ]
>> Like that, exactly. That would be my face.
>> Okay. Watch this. [ Laughter ] Now, one of the items that I checked out was this digital frame from Pandigital. It's called the "Pan Touch." And the cool thing about it is the border is where you touch. It prevents you from smudging the frame, so you can control around the edge of the picture. So it's kind of cool.
>> I don't really like digital photo frames in general. I don't really get the point. But that...
>> Why are you against them?
>> It just seems like a gift that you get for someone that you don't really know what to get for them.
>> And then what else do you have?
>> From Fujitsu, they have this thing. It's called "Palm Secure." And it looks like a mouse and basically you hold your hand over it. And it reads the patterns of the veins in your hand. You hold your hand over it. It sees your vein pattern and says oh. It's Erica.
>> For security.
>> Yeah
>> It's not like a Jedi mouse, where it could be, like, open up applications.
>> I wish, but no I don't think so.
>> Open up... Okay.
>> Yeah.
>> Okay. Now, if you guys want to contribute to our show, just send an email to drivingmecravy@cnet.com. And anything that you guys find on the net, you want to have your name on the show, send it our way and we'll feature it. Also, last week we didn't have a trivia question, but this week we do. We want to take care of you. And it has to do with the segment that involved a company called "My Photo Wall." And Erica has the question for you guys.
>> I do. What city was featured on the wall that had two dogs in the same room?
>> Hmm. All right. Think about that really hard, and also email us. And the first two people who do that, we're gonna hook you guys up with these cool Power Play Packs from Griffin. You know, we take care of you guys. Kinda cool stuff.
>> That's very nice.
>> All right. Now, it's time where we look out for you. It's all about Do Not Crave. ^M00:02:22 [ Music ]
>> We all talk about a world where tech is everywhere. And companies like Akva Waterbeds aren't letting us down. You wanna take a guess at what they're pushing? How about a waterbed with built in loudspeakers? Now they use descriptions like, "feel the gallop thundering through your body." "Sense the blast from take off." Woo hoo, some one actually wrote that stuff. Now this bed proves that it might actually be all about the motion in the ocean. ^M00:02:49 [ Ship horn ] I don't know about you, but I thought waterbeds were out of style. Nice try, Akva, but you know what we gotta say about this one? Do not crave. All right. So what did you think of that one?
>> That's something.
>> Would you actually get a waterbed with built-in speakers?
>> No. I mean unless it was, maybe, to wake me up in the morning because I do have a hard time getting out of bed.
>> So the, like, rumble like the typhoon or something in there.
>> Exactly. It's like get up. Go to work. Yeah. That might be okay.
>> All right. Well, thanks a lot for coming out to our show this week.
>> Absolutely.
>> And you'll come back again down the road?
>> Sure.
>> Okay. Awesome. We'll see you guys next week. ^M00:03:22 [ Music ]
