>> Brian: If you're a Twitter freak and a Facebook addict did you know you can make them work in harmony? I'm Brian Tong with CNET.com and in this quick tip I'll show you how to update your Twitter and Facebook status at the same time. Now, everyone pretty much knows about Facebook but if you still haven't heard about Twitter it's a microblogging service that allows you to send, read and reply to other people's text-based updates. For those in the know they like to call them Tweets. Now, we know Facebook is like crack and so is Twitter so let's show you how to do this. First you're gonna want to sign up for a Twitter account and it's totally free. Now once that's done we're gonna want to log into Facebook, search for ad to Twitter application and immediately you're gonna see a button that says Allow Twitter to Update Your Facebook Status. Now allow the status updates and now everything is in place. Now you guys can install a Twitter application on your phone because they're available for all platforms or even text message your Twitter updates. I like to use Twitter Phone on my iPhone because it's pretty slick but from now on any time you update your Twitter status your Facebook status changes and everyone is in the know. And if you guys still think that Tweeting is lame give this one a shot because one taste of the Twitter Kool Aid might get you sucked in for good. I'm Brian Tong for CNET.com with your quick tip for the day, use it wisely. ^E00:01:18
