Well we'll tell you; actually it's time once again to reach into our server logs from the CNET search engine. Let's count down the top five search terms on cnet.com. At Number 5 Samsung; that's right. Maybe you want a phone, maybe you want a TV, maybe you want a 64 gigabyte flash memory chip; we know this much--you want Samsung. Coming in at Number 4, the iPhone. Most likely you're also searching for unlock or third party apps in the same string, but for whatever reason you are certainly interested in the little touch screen phone from Apple. Up to Number 3--GPS. I won't make the obvious joke about everyone searching for direction, damn, I just did. How do I navigate out of this? Get it? Sliding into Number 2--digital camera. Is there any other kind? The film camera has kind of become a hobbyist item and the playing field in digital is pretty level so I can see why you'd be searching for some details in this category. This is the most used key word in CNET search right now. At Number 1, it's iPod. It must be the fact that there's like 50 versions of the thing now. People are probably searching to get a handle on which one they want to get; or it could be they need help fixing batteries or they're having syncing issues but once again on yet another list, we see the iPod on the top.
