Welcome to CNET Top 5, where each time we meet, we count down another hot CNET list. I'm Tom Merritt. This time we check in on the products you've been viewing most. CNET users are nothing if not discriminating, and we've got the gadgets they visit most often, based on our traffic reports. Let's count down the Top 5 most popular products. At No. 5, Panasonic Viera TH-50PZ800U. This 50-inch plasma TV is our Editors' Choice award winner. David Katzmeier calls it one of the best performing HDTV's available. No wonder it's popular. Coming in at No. 4, the LG Vu. This is the other supersexy touch screen smartphone from AT&T. It's 3G, has a 2-megapixel camera, and has full HTML support. Sound familiar? Why yes and guess what? Up to No. 3, The Samsung Instinct. Thought I was going to say something else did you? Let's just clear this up now. It's all phones for the rest of the list this time. Kent German found issues with its call quality and lack of Wi-Fi, but y'all don't care. You got mesmerized by the slickness. And speaking of slick. Sliding in at No. 2, Apple's iPhone 3G. Oh no. It's not in the top spot. The slick phone with the App Store and the long lines is not in fact the most popular product. Maybe that's because it's fans are busy standing in line and aren't surfing the Web to read its review. In any case, a different phone takes the crown. But before we get to No. 1, let's take a look at our top-rated smartphones. These are the highest-rated by our own editors. And by the way, the iPhone is not ranked among the smartphones. All right. Let's get to our No. 1. The No. 1At , It's...LG Dare This is also our most popular product video on CNET TV as well. What is it with this thing? Its 3.2-megapixel camera is cool. But a full HTML browser and touch screen are pretty standard on today's list. But y'all are fascinated with it. Maybe it's because it's for Verizon.
