Clickfree Portable Backup Drive Video Transcript
>> Justin: Hey, it's Justin Yu, Assistant Editor for CNET.com and we're taking a first look at the Click Free Portable Backup Drive. Now, this external drive makes it super easy for you to backup all of your files because the software you need is actually preloaded onto the drive and starts up automatically when you plug it in. But before we get into that let's take a quick look at the physical features. The drive is available in several capacities and colors ranging from 120GB all the way up to a massive 500GB. Now, our particular unit is the 320G and comes in this cobalt blue color. Now, 2 indicator lights on the front let you know when the device is on and data is being transferred. Up top you'll find a single mini USB port and a DC in just in case your USB bus isn't self powered. Now, a few gripes we have with the Click Free Drive are that it does not support older Windows operating systems like N98 or ME and there's no Firewire built in, but these are small problems that definitely don't detract from the overall quality. In fact, we especially like the physical size of the drive itself it's smaller than most external hard drives we've tested and weighs next to nothing, so let's move on to the backup software. The click free truly lives up to its name and requires almost no effort to backup your data. When you plug in the drive Click Free's proprietary software automatically launches and asks which files you'd like to backup, music, videos, documents, whatever. You can also make a clone of your entire hard drive and make individual backup profiles for up to 15 different users making this a great solution for big families or small businesses that want to consolidate backups onto a single device. Now, the Click Free offers a simple and easy solution to what was once a really painful backup process, no drag and drops, no weeding through files just plug it in and you're off. Now, the price is reasonable and the performance scores don't disappoint either, so we're really happy to give this Click Free our CNET recommendation. I'm Justin Yu and this is the Click Free Portable Backup Drive. ^E00:01:53

Clickfree Portable Backup Drive (320GB) Review
The good: No-hassle automatic backup; record-breaking transfer speeds; inexpensive; includes dual-prong USB cable.
The bad: No FireWire; does not support Windows 98/ME; short one-year warranty.
The bottom line: Small business and personal users with large amounts of data will appreciate the Clickfree's painless backup drive that practically automates all the work through the embedded software. People running older Windows operating systems are out of luck, but the lightning-fast transfer speeds and excellent performance scores secure the Clickfree a solid recommendation for up-to-date Windows and Mac users.
