Clickfree C6 Easy Imaging Portable Backup Drive Video Transcript

-Backing up is like insurance. You need it, though you never want to have to use it. The good news is backing up is not required by law. The bad news, well, is also because it's not required by law. [unk] that it were finding your important documents and data gone forever. To prevent this from happening, you should get yourself a device that do the back up for you. Hello. My name is Dong Ngo and this is one drive that can do just almost entirely by itself, the Clickfree C6 Easy Drive Imaging Portable Drive. Now, this is an upgrade to the C2N drive, also from Clickfree that offers fully automated backup solution. The C6 here now adds another very important feature. In addition to user data is now also backup application and the operating system itself. This allows user to restore the system to the point in the past in case of crashes or virus infections. To make a backup, all we have to do is plug the drive into the Windows computer's USB port. The drive doesn't work with Mac. It features USB 3.0, but would also work with USB 2.0 ports. The first time you plug the drive in, it will prompt you to accept the user agreement and allow the built-in Clickfree's backup software to run. After that, you're going to see a 30-second countdown before the backup process starts. If you keep the drive plugged in at all times, a backup of the system would be made once a day. All these can be customized by using the software's options. When it comes to restoring, you can either use the software again with the Windows or, in case of crashes, you can use the drive as the boot device. This allows for restoring the system backed to a point in the past or moving the entire system or a new hard drive. As a portable drive, the C6 was very fast in our testing topping our chart of portable USB 3.0 drives. At the street price of around $100 for the 500-gigabyte version or $140 for the 1-terabyte version, the C6 makes an excellent backup device for PC home users. For more information on how it works, check out the full review at cnet.com. Once again, my name is Dong Ngo and this has been the first-look at the Clickfree C6 Easy Drive Imaging Portable Drive.
