>> Hey guys I'm Brian Tong here at CES 2008, and we're here in Cisco's neck of the woods, but I have the Cisco 8550 HDC series. It's a high-def dual tuner and DVR. Now, Cisco is touting, it has its next gen of silicon in the box and what that means for you is faster processor, and faster interfaces, so, overall the experience is gonna be a lot smoother and nice. Now, another feature they have is additional connectivity. They have USB 2.0 on the back and that might be for new peripherals that we haven't even seen yet. Plus, we also have Ethernet in the back for home connectivity. So, one of these boxes can talk to another one in another room. Another cool feature, MPEG-4 compatibility and what that means for you is cleaner and better, crispier HD Video, I mean, who doesn't love that. Plus, these boxes also support a third party apps, so in the future we might see things like yourself being able to vote for your favorite dancer on Dance with the Stars, well if that's your favorite TV show. These guys are available now, and hopefully we'll be seeing cable operators offering them sometime around Spring 2008. So, there you have it, it's the Cisco 8550 HDC series. Looking good! ^M00:01:09 [ Music ]
