>> Tom Merritt: Welcome to CNET Top Five where each time we meet and count down another CNET list. I'm Tom Merritt. We are here at CES 2010, the biggest consumer electronic show on Earth, and every time we come here, everyone goes up and says, "Well, what's the biggest thing you saw at CES?" Well, there's always more than one. In fact, we identified five. So I got my bag for free stuff, we're going to hit the show floor, and count down the top five biggest trends at CES 2010. Starting us off at number five, Mobile D TV. Now, this might be a bigger trend next year, but we're starting to see it in a lot of different devices as you can see. It's the ability to broadcast digital TV wirelessly to any kind of device. DVD player, cell phones, whole lot of different things. Coming in at number four, apps. They're apparently in everything this year. I found them in home automation systems, printers, more reasonably televisions. If you've got an electronics device, apparently, there's apps for that. Coming in at number three, e-Readers. First there was Sony then Kindle then Nook. Now everybody's getting into the game. If you have thought about getting into reading digital books, now's you're chance to shop the marketplace and find one that fits you. There's a ton of them out there, and they're almost all wireless. Sliding in at number two, tablets, I, I mean, slats because tablets are those things that failed back in 2002. Everybody's got a tablet, a slate computer this year, and a lot of them do a lot more things than they used to do five years ago, and they're all in the shadow of what Apple may or may not do. OK. Before we get to number one, I need a break, and time for another lame prize. Well, it may not be that lame. I've been filling up the swag bag with all kinds of prizes. Some kind of lame mints. Others, not so lame like a spec case. Whole bag's yours if you can answer our trivia question at blog.cnettv.com. Be one of the first ten people to answer this question correctly. People listening to me while I record this, no, you don't get an edge. You have to wait until the video goes out. Here's the question. In 1967, Consumer Electronics Show started. What trade show did it spin off of? Once again, answer the question correctly. Be one of the first ten to do so, blog.cnettv.com. Swag bag yours. Alright. It's time for our number one, the biggest trend at CES 2010, the big buzzword at number one it's - 3D. And it's mostly in TV's, although any marketing director worth their budget's trying to claim 3D for pretty much any product. You will actually see these on your shelves this year, though. You will be able to buy 3D TV's. You are living in the future. Next year, 4D. Well, that's it for this edition of CNET Top Five. Don't forget to answer the trivia question in our blog post at blog.cnettv.com for a chance to win the CES swag bag. From CES 2010, I'm Tom Merritt. See you next time. [ Music ]
