Canon PowerShot A2200 Video Transcript

Hey, I'm Josh Goldman, senior editor with CNET and this is a look at the Canon PowerShot A2200. So, what is there to say about the A2200? Well, not very much. It's a very basic point-and-shoot camera. Takes 14-megapixel images, shoots 720p HD video at 30 frames per second, has a wide-angle lens, 2.7-inch LCD on back, and, well, that's about it. It does take very nice photos for its price and videos, too. Has a very reliable auto mode and a bunch of extra settings like Canon's Creative Filters to play with. Mostly, though, it's just a simple point-and-shoot camera. It squeezes right in between the A3300 IS which has image stabilization, this does not, and below it is the A1200 which has an optical viewfinder and AA batteries, two things people really like in an entry-level point-and-shoot. This is just small and has a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, but, again, if all you're after is a small, simple point-and-shoot, the A2200 is a safe bet. I'm Josh Goldman and that's a look at the Canon PowerShot A2200.
