-What's up everyone! It's Justin Yu, associate editor of peripherals here at CNET.com. Today, we're taking a closer look at one of our favorite printers. It's the Canon ImageClass MF3010. It's a mono laser printer and it can only print in black ink. So you wanna keep shopping of if you're looking to print photos, but this machine is perfect for students and professionals that just wanna quick, cheap, and easy way to print e-mails, web articles, recipes and stuff like that. It's called an all-in-one device because not only can you print, but there's also a full color scanner bay and a copy machine built in. It's also a new size shape for the ImageClass. Designed to take up as little space as possible, but you can fit 150 sheets of paper in the input drawer. All the paper drawers and ink cartridge trays fold up into the device and that modular design makes a lot of sense if you're using it in a small dorm room or an office cube. So, there aren't a lot of bells and whistles you get with inkjet printers in here, but that's what we like about this guy. It's simplicity. There is small 1 digit display to indicate the copy setting or status of the machine, and you can easily hook it up to either a Mac or Windows computer pretty quickly. Price at just under 150 bucks, we definitely recommend the ImageClass MF3010 for the work horse in your life. I'm Justin Yu, and you just took a closer look at the Canon ImageClass MF3010 multifunction laser printer. Thanks for watching.
Though it's lacking Wi-Fi and an auto-document feeder, the Canon ImageClass MF3010 laser printer's strong performance and versatile features has appeal for students and home offices on a budget.
Step right up to the Canon ImageClass MF3110 for swift laser prints and scans but don't expect it to run your office.
Any small office shopping for a no-nonsense laser multifunction should count this model among its top picks.
The MF8170c is a great home-office multifunction, but in bigger offices it's suitable only for patient workgroups.
The Canon Pixma MX410 isn't the fastest printer in its image class, but its auto-document feeder, wireless connectivity, and the comprehensive Canon software suite earn this multifunction printer our recommendation for light to moderate monthly output.
Business shoppers and home users alike should check out this printer. Its cloud-printing features, double-sided prints, and the auto-document feeder on top make scanning and copying really easy. And its output speeds are impressive, too.
When it comes to features and image quality, this camera is at the top of its class.
If you're after a wide and long lens and excellent photo quality, the Canon PowerShot SX40 HS is a standout. In features, design, and performance, though, it's a bit lacking.
The Canon Pixma MP780 is well suited for home offices or businesses small enough to get by without a networked multifunction printer.
We recommend the Canon Pixma MG6120 compact multifunction printer for its simple touch-sensitive control panel, HD Movie Print feature, and capable performance that stand out from the competition.
