>> I'm John Falcone, senior editor from CNET.com and this is the Cambridge Sound Works radio 820 HD. This is Cambridge's first HD radio product and that's pretty much its primary mission. It's an AM/FM radio that also gets the all digital HD radio reception as well. It's also a dual alarm, alarm clock and it does have two line inputs so you can hope pretty much any audio device to this and listen to it through the internal speakers. What's really nice about this product is the design, it's a totally new design for Cambridge and unlike some of the stodgier looks of their past radio products, this one looks at lot more modern and the front panel is really nice. It has a great LCD front panel and that controls are basically just these two knobs. The big advantage here is that HD radio, so that means if a station in your area is broadcasted in HD you just tune into it on AM or FM, it will, the HD indicator will blink on and then you are listening to the all digital HD signal. Another advantage with HD radio is that it has some sub channels, what they call HD two channels that you can only get with an HD radio such as this model. The sound quality is really uneven across all of these HD stations, that being said the radio itself performs really well, delivers really good sound quality and if you are looking for just a radio, the 820 HD is a pretty good choice.
