>> I'm Nichole Lee, Associate Editor for CNET.com and this is the Callpod Dragon Bluetooth headsets. As you can see it's a very compact and small Bluetooth headsets. The unusual thing about the Callpod Dragon is that it is one of the very few headsets that uses Class 1 Bluetooth technology. What that means is that it has a range of around 100-meters. Most Bluetooth headsets has a range of about 50 meters or less. So, this is definitely a very powerful headset in that sense. Construction is pretty solid, it has a simple multifunction button in the middle. It's pretty easy to press. On top, you do get the Power switch, as well as the volume and rocker, so it's pretty easy to press as well. On the back, you get the atypical in-ear style ear bud and the very flexible ear hook that you can, sort of take out and switch to a different position if you wish. Another cool feature of the Callpod Dragon is that you have two of these headsets, you can use them as a walkie-talkie modes up to about 250-square feet. Sound quality was also pretty good, there was that noise suppression technology in the headset, so incoming/outgoing call quality was pretty good. The good: The Callpod Dragon is a great-fitting headset with easy-to-use controls, plus a very wide connection range of 100 meters. It also features multidevice pairing and walkie-talkie functionality.
The bad: The Callpod Dragon had subpar outgoing sound quality, with the occasional echo and background hum.
The bottom line: The Callpod Dragon is comfortable and user-friendly, but we wish the sound quality was better.
