Hey, everyone. I'm Jessica Dolcourt for CNET, taking a first look at the Samsung comment for Cricket Wireless. This phone is otherwise known as the Samsung Freeform III, and it is characterized by this portrait QWERTY keyboard at the bottom. It's actually a pretty good keyboard, comfortable for typing, the buttons are very easy to press and because it is compact and closed together, there's actually fairly good accuracy with typing as well. So I did like that. I think the layout overall is really nice. Does have a small screen, and it's also rather basic as you would expect but it does have a browser and connections to e-mail and text messaging. There's also a toolbox here with the usual tools, calculator, and the calendar. There's Bluetooth support as well and a navigator to help you drive. On the back, there's a pretty basic 1.3 megapixel camera with no flash. Now, this phone has been around for a long time. It originally debuted for $89.99 but you can get it online today for $39.00. I'm Jessica Dolcourt, this is the Samsung comment for Cricket Wireless.
