>> Hey everyone, I'm Jeff Bakalar, Assistant editor here at CNET.com. Today we're gonna be looking at the Bose Computer MusicMonitor PC Speakers. Now these are not your run-of-the-mill average PC speakers. They're obviously very small, they're not gonna take up a lot of real estate on your desktop. They have a very minimalist design with great metallic finish. Now, the package you get does not come with the subwoofer, so you may notice the lack of bass in the overall sound quality. The sound though is surprisingly big. They may not deliver the loudness you want from movies, games, or when you're playing music, however. The package also comes with the remote control that allows you to adjust volume and the power. These controls will also mimic on the side of the right speaker. Just like any other PC speakers, you can hook these up to any source with the line-out, such as an iPod or another kind of music player. These are priced at $400. They're pretty expensive, so you need to be sure that you're willing to pay a premium for the small size and sleek styling. I'm Jeff Bakalar and this has been the Bose Computer MusicMonitor PC Speakers. ^M00:01:10 [ Music ]

Bose Computer MusicMonitor (silver) Review
The good: Compact Bose PC speaker system; tiny cast-metal cabinets; remote control for power and volume.
The bad: Very expensive; no headphone jack; size limitations affect sound quality for movies and games.
The bottom line: The tiny Bose MusicMonitor computer speakers are ideal for buyers who need the smallest possible speakers, but you can find better-sounding--albeit much larger--alternatives at this price.
