>> Hey who put the X3 in the dryer? Oh wait that's the X1 concept, basically mapping a premium crossover to BMW's 1 series. But does BMW or the market for that matter need another crossover these days? Broomer has it this X1 would likely see production in late 2009 and likely with 1-series powertrains that we know, but also with a potential twin turbo 2 liter diesel. But perhaps the best SUV news from BMW is that they have cancelled plans for the 7-series to morph into an X7.
