>> Hey. This is Mike Tao. Welcome to Crossfade TV. I'm out here in Austin, Texas for part two of our South by Southwest coverage. There's been a lot of events happening over the past couple of days. Got to check out the Stones Throw, Boot Camp, SoundClash featuring Buckshot, Percee P among others. And I think the one artist that really stood out was Guilty Simpson, who you can find on our site. ^M00:00:28 [ Music ] ^M00:00:32 The artist that I'm really looking forward to seeing is Ice Cube, who I've been a fan of since the NWA days. And he's the South by Southwest keynote speaker. He's also doing a showcase this Saturday, along with Talib Kweli, Strong Arm Steady, and Jean Grae. ^M00:00:47 [ Music ] ^M00:00:52 You want to stay up to date with everything that's going on, well, what we're doing, check out our Crossfade blog, which you can find on our site, Music.download.com.
>> Hey. What's up, everyone? I'm Anngie Dehoyos with Crossfade TV. And I'm here in Austin, Texas for the South by Southwest Music Festival. This year is my first South by experience, and so far it's been loads of fun. Last night I checked out the modular showcase and saw electro favorite, Black Ghost. ^M00:01:14 [ Music ] ^M00:01:22 Now, I expected a lot more from the Black Ghost performance, however, Simian Lord rocked it on the stage, singing practically every song of his new PEP, plus new material. So definitely check out Download.com Music for those. Another band they kept yapping about throughout the night was the Cool Kids. ^M00:01:38 [ Music ] ^M00:01:45 These guys are seriously amazing with their old school rhymes, sounding like a late '80s EPMD collaboration. ^M00:01:50 [ Music ] ^M00:01:57 So definitely check out Download.com Music for new tracks. All right, guys, that's it for me. I 'm definitely gonna go out there and check out more bands. ^M00:02:03 [ Music ]
