Belkin Advanced N900 DB Wireless Dual-Band N+ Router Video Transcript
Hi there. It's Dong Ngo from Cnet.com. And this is a Belkin N900 Dual Band Router. Now this look exactly like a UFO. How do I know, because I've seen many of them. Unfortunately, this one is not a flying object. So having this kind of ship doesn't really cut it for a router. First of all, the base here is kind of too small and too narrow and too light making the router topple very easily especially when there are cable coming from the back. And secondly, these slick cover is actually a really bad finger printing magnet. And thirdly, a router is about to be put under the desk so there's no need for it to look too good. Now the look on the side, these router has 4 gigabit land port and one port. On the front here, the router has 1 indicator light on top and the WPS button. The router is very easy to use. On the bottom is basically gonna fire all the default configuration. With this, you can just plug it in and you are set. Now, if you want to further customize setting, you can use web interface. Now the special thing about this Belkin router is the fact that it supports the 3x3 standard on both bands. That means expand offer the 450 megabit per second for the total of 9 megabit per seconds which explains the N900 designation. The router come with two USB port to host either printers or external hard drive. In my testing, the router actually performed really well when used with a 450 megabit per second clients. With our clients, it worked pretty well too. It also offer great range on the 2.4 gigahertz band. On the 5 gigahertz band, the range could be better. In my testing, the router has (??) storage features, offer pretty good performance even though it's quote limited in term of what it can do with it. For example, you can turn on or off the mid streaming and that's it. The same goes with file sharing. You cannot restrict access to certain folder and so on. Overall, this is a good router but not really good enough to justify its rather pricey cost. At $200, it's about 20 or $30 more than (Spears?). Now for more information, check out the full review at Cnet.com. Once again, my name is Dong Ngo and this has been the first look at UFO... first look at the Belkin Dual Band N900 Router.

Belkin Advance N900 DB Wireless Dual-Band N+ Router Review
The good: The good-looking Belkin Advance N900 DB Wireless Dual-Band N+ Router has fast wireless speed and long range. The router comes with two USB ports to host printers or external storage.
The bad: The comparatively expensive Belkin Advance N900 DB Wireless Dual-Band N+ Router's advanced features are not well-thought-out and most require software to work. The router's design, though eye-catching, is not practical, and its USB ports don't support USB 3.0.
The bottom line: The Advance N900 DB Wireless Dual-Band N+ Router is one of the best Belkin routers in a long time. Compared with others on the market, it's also a decent choice if you need a fast and robust home network.
