>> What's happening? I'm Brian Tong and welcome to The Apple Byte. It's all the good and the bad inside of Apple, so let's jump to the news. On demand video could finally be coming to iTunes. Apple insider is reporting the service called iTunes replay will allow users to stream their iTunes purchases directly from Apple service for playback anywhere. Now, another aspect of this would potentially allow the iPhone and iPod Touch to stream content as well. There's a patent for the devices to stream from iTunes over wifi and it was filed late last year, so you can start putting the pieces together. Now this is all good news to me with Apple possibly adding on an on demand model to iTunes, so we'll see if this stuff holds true. Are Apple and Google becoming BFFs? A member from the android team reportedly says Apple asked Google not to use multi-touch technology in the android platform and they agreed. Now, the lack of multi-touch was a point of criticism by a lot of reviews, including Cnet's. The Venture Beat report says Google wanted to avoid risking its relationship with the big A, but are you serious? Does a company like Apple really have you buy the gonads like that? You're Google. Google. Google. Okay. In other Apple/Google lover news, the big Goog's announced the Google sync beta for the iPhone. It allows your Google contacts and multiple calendars to sync over the air to your iPhone using Microsoft's active sync. If you already have an exchange account on the iPhone, it will replace all that data, so beware. But it's the first alternative to Apple's '99 Mobile Me service and it's free. Now, you guys know we couldn't go through the show without telling you this story. Steve Wozniak will be on Dancing With The Stars. That's right. One of the founders of Apple computers that helped revolutionize the personal computer will think entirely different and put on his dancing shoes on March 9th. So thanks to our friends at Jib Jab that made that video exclusive possible. Now, let's get back to some of the stories. Here's one that I'm super excited about. Marvel Comics is coming to iTunes. Marvel announced their intention to sell in-motion comic books through the iTunes store and motion comic books take paperback books and they use animated panels, voiceovers and sound effects to breathe new life into them. To me, it's like a whole other art form and seeing some of my favorite super heros like this is worthy of a major geekasm. I love the idea. Now, do you guys like watching things that jiggle? Let's check out the iPhone app of the week, and this one's a personal favorite of mine. Now, you guys need to check out Wobble. It's only 99 cents and what you basically do is take a picture from your collection -- so I'm going to take a Homer Simpson picture -- and then I'll add this Wobble target and I'll move it and then resize it to his stomach -- and you guys can put multiple targets on a pic, so don't worry about that -- but then, when I'm ready to view, I'm going to press here and just shake my phone and, check it out, Homers's jiggling like jello. And you guys can use any photo that you want. Yes, I know this is very immature, but it's too much fun and these targets can be placed on anything. Anything. So try it out and let me know what you guys think because something had to bump I Fart off the top 25 anyways. Now, we want to get you involved, so we're going to keep having fun with this Woz story.
