>> Hi, I'm Josh Goldman, senior editor for Cnet Reviews, and this behemoth is the Aseus W 90 VP X 1 as an 18-inch desk top replacement built for PC gaming. Might not look terribly exciting, but inside is a set of components that's made it the fastest mobile computer we've tested to date, landing it an Editor's Choice Award for its performance. It uses a desktop mother board with a 2.8 gigahertz core 2 duo processor, 6 gigs of memory, and two 512 Meg ATI graphics boards. The processor can be over clocked to 3.28 gigahertz at the press of a button. Other features we liked are the ample port assortment. It's a great sound system that includes five speakers and a sub woofer, there's sub panels for controlling media, screen brightness, and other things, and of course the 18-inch LCD. The biggest down side is its size and weight, which tips the scales at 16 pounds with this massive power brink. It's also not cheap, at $2,199, but we feel it's a good deal for the performance and features you get. It's certainly more mobile than comparably equipped desk top and monitor. I'm Josh Goldman and that's the Aseus W 90 VP X 1. ^M00:01:25 [ Music ]
