-If you thought the unique PadFone was gonna remain just at-- Well, you're wrong. Meet the newest and latest sequel to the comfortable smartphone tablet. Much like the original PadFone. the PadFone 2 is capable of docking into the smartphone tablet. The combined package is much lighter than the original at 649 g. Some things have changed however. The handset slides in vertically now. And it has a much larger 4.7-inch display. Instead of the AMOLED screen used in the original, the PadFone 2 spots a super IPS plus display with an HD resolution on 1,280 x 720 pixels. The PadFone 2 joins the ranks of the LG Optimus G with a Qualcom Snapdragon S4 quad core processor, running at 1.5 gigahertz. The toy ship with android 4.0 Ice Cream sandwich. The PadFone 2 will get the jellybean update in the future. The PadFone 2 uses a modified micro-USB port and is meant for docking with the pad station. You can plug in a regular micro-USB to charge the phone and tablet, but it will few [unk]. Pricing and availability have not been announced. Do check our article for more detailed heads up.
