>> Hey, I'm Donald Bell, here for CNET.com talking about the newly announced upgrade to the Apple TV product. This is Apple TV Take 2. The main difference between the Apple TV now and this Take 2 version of Apple TV is really all software, firmware. Now, when you look at the screen, you see an entirely new menu structure and the real main difference between Apple TV, the first generation and the second generation version is that it can be used without a computer. It can be a set top device you can use whether you have a Mac or not and you can rent Apple TV, an iTunes, video, television, music content directly to the box and have it connected to your entertainment system, your widescreen TV. So, the other great news for the Apple TV announcement is that is a free software upgrade for existing Apple TV customers. So, if you are already purchased an Apple TV, there's a free upgrade pack and you can have all the new functionality of Apple TV on the existing product. If you're going out and buying a new version of the Apple TV, the prices dropped, so you can now get the Apple TV for $229 or $329 for the 160-gigabyte version of the Apple TV.
