>> What's up? I'm Brian Tong. And welcome to the Apple Byte. It's everything good and bad inside the world of Apple; so let's get to the latest news. MacBook Air fans will have to wait until after Thanksgiving to get their hands on the entry-level model. The delay is potentially a component or supply issue with the 120-gig standard hard drive. But you know who's getting their MacBook Airs? Those rich, snooty kids from 90210. See, see look. There. And there. Man, it looks like the West Beverly Hills brats have a step on you all. But don't worry. By late November you'll get a MacBook Air, too. Now jumping to MacBook Pros, the all-new multi-touch trackpad may not be so revolutionary for the time being. Customers are having issues with the responsiveness of the trackpad, and Steve Jobs has addressed complaints with the statement, "Software fix coming soon." Our own staff members have the new MacBook Pro, so we talked to them to get the skinny. Okay, Sean [assumed spelling], what's going on with your MacBook?

>> It's not necessarily the physical trackpad that's giving me the problems with the button, but it's picking up the movement of my fingers. Sometimes it went recognize, you know, two -- you know, your two fingers or your one finger. It's really bothersome, but usually, you know, if you just -- you get it, you just wipe it off and try it again. It'll work.

>> So we're here with Anthony right now, and what's going on with your MacBook Pro?

>> I really don't know, man. Like, every once in a while -- like, let's say every ten clicks or something, it just doesn't register. I'm, like, clicking as hard as I can. I don't know what's up.

>> So obviously there's a lot of issues with the MacBook Pros. And now, back to my favorite host. We'll look for the update, but this is just another hiccup to another flagship product. And unfortunately, I'm getting pretty used to these. Now, are you waiting for a new iMac or Mac Mini this season? In an unexpected move, an Apple spokesperson told MacWorld, "Our holiday lineup is set." Now, rarely does the big A outright tell consumers this, but with a tighter economy, they probably don't want customers holding out for that new machine that's not coming. So you are now free to spend away. You want to type your emails in landscape mode? Well, pay attention.
