Business insider is reporting that Taiwanese original equipment manufacturers have orders from the online retailer to build a tablet PC. The company has been manufacturing their own Kindle E-Reader for years and with their own apps store just launching plus a flesh out a hardware team, an Amazon tablet sounds good. We have a bit more information on the PlayStation network breach that we reported on yesterday. We know that PlayStation network and curiosity customers were among those at risk of having their personal information obtain, but now Sony says customers of their PC game network Sony online entertainment were also included in the information breach. This is the main credit card data base is in incepted and they assure that it was not compromised and that it is separate from servers running the services like PlayStation network, but information like addresses, birthdays, and names are not encrypted. Sony is creating a new chief security information officer position in PlayStation network's system security is being upgraded. IRM released a new video chat app for the BlackBerry playbook tablet today. It lets playbook owners chat with each other and make one click video calls using Wi-Fi. The service maybe extended to work with other devices in the future. The playbook did not exactly release within a ray of features, but they're working on it. Facebook for the playbook launch today as well. AT&T wants daily deals like Groupon; the company with the worse phone reception wants to create its own discount site.
