-This is Josh Lowensohn for CNET and I'm here taking a look at the Xbox One. This is Microsoft's brand new Xbox launching later this year. What's big and new? Pretty much everything. We have a brand new version of Kinect, a brand new console, a new controller. Kind of a big deal, they finally added Blu-ray which, of course, Microsoft picked the wrong camp with the Xbox 360 picking HD DVD. So, now, we have something that is pretty much ubiquitous with high definition disks. On the back, we have a bunch of USB 3 ports, HDMI, but the big new deal is that they want this to be the center piece of your living room, that means it works with television now, live television. You can switch to channels and a lot of it is voice controlled, so you can just say, switch to TV, switch to a certain channel. -Xbox, show the guide. -There's even a built-in programming guide. We don't yet know a price for this or some of the big launched games. We got a couple of demos today but Microsoft said we're gonna know more about that at E3 which is the second week of June. Microsoft shows off its new Kinect Xbox interface at E3 2010. No remotes or controllers are needed. Users instead play music, movies, games and connect via video chat using voice commands and hand or body motions. The Kinect, formerly known as Project Natal, will go on sale in November.
