>> Hi I'm Rich Brown senior associate editor for CNET.com. We are here today to take a look at the Alien Ware Aurora 3500. This is a mid range gaming PC with an A and B chip in it, it also has a different case number used different than Alien Ware. It's not the typical big Alien Head rather it's a little more stream lined and a little slimmer. We like the fact that it has a smaller footprint, and if you look at the front door you can see it has the requisite front panel ports. Although they are pretty recessed behind the front panel and kind of hard to get to. Of course you can always open the front panel door up, slides back, which is very convenient, keeps it out of the way. We wish instead of plastic that it was made out of metal because it does feel a little bit flimsy and like one good hit could take the door off. But once you get the door open you get access to the ports as well as to the DVD drive. Inside you can see that Alien Ware applied its same high-end system building techniques to this mid-ranged system. It's got very clear airflow, super tidy cabling, and plenty of room for upgrades. You can see there is a spare graphics card slot, and we're amazed by the 650-watt power supply, which gives you plenty of overhead for adding higher end parts. You can see there is room for three more hard drives as well as one more optical drive. And these two tabs make it really easy to pop up the front bezels and you can slide the drives right in. That's the Alien Ware Aurora 3500 and I'm Rich Brown. ^M00:01:10 [ Music ]
