"freezerburn" is a cinepoem (cinematic poetry) by San Francisco writer LaDonna Witmer. Inspired by news stories about the California forest fires of 2004, "freezerburn" addresses the themes of isolation, loneliness, and the absence of passion. The narrator can see the whole world but feels set apart, frozen. "The world is on fire, but it leaves me cold..." Freezerburn was shot in San Francsico by videographer and editor Michelle M. Brown.

"Good To See You Again, Alice Cooper" DVD trailer
"Good To See You Again, Alice Cooper" is one of the great lost rock films. The movie, which captures the original band lineup in the middle of the legendary 1973 Billion Dollar Babies tour, has never before been available on home video or DVD. Shout! Factory is proud to present the original cut of the film (including skits featuring the band) which was given a very limited theatrical run?mostly at midnight screenings?in the mid-?70s. This is the early cut, predating the Holywood version. Now available for the first time since the theatrical release, Good To See You Again, Alice Cooper boasts a new high-definition film transfer as well as a new Surround Sound mix created from the 16-track master tapes, plus a multitude of extras, including movie-length commentary by Alice himself. ?The film that out-grosses them all??as it was originally billed?is back, looking and sounding better than ever. White Rabbits come to NYC via the arid plains of the Mid West. Although they have been in The City for just over a year they have, in that sort interval, managed to catch the attention of Say Hey Records and producer Chris Zane (Calla, Asobi Seksu, Les Savy Fav) with their stellar songwriting ability and instrumental aplomb. Lead by dual vocalists, Greg Roberts (Guitar / Vox) and Steve Patterson (Piano / Vox), the 6 piece is rounded out by Alex Even (Guitar / Vox), Adam Russell (Bass), Matt “The Duck” Clark (Drums) and Jamie Levinson (Percussion). With a certain joie de vive, playfulness and charm White Rabbits thematically evoke the more decadent and bygone era of days spent on the green, old cinemas “Tourist Trap”, tragic mothers “Navy Wives”, and restrained, but no less awkward domestic disputes, with the first single, “The Plot”.
Chicago had its cows. Toronto had its moose. New York had its taxis. San Francisco had its hearts. And...Phoenix has its guitars. It's GuitarMania, and it's a fund-raiser for Big Brothers and Big Sisters in "the valley." My wifer and I toured the largest central collection of them in Phoenix, that being in front of America West Arena and by Chase Field (formerly Bank One Ballpark). The fiberglass guitars are all very cool and some are even made to honor celebrities such as Stevie Nicks, Alice Cooper and Wayne Gretzky . All are done in themes that range from the straightforward to the abstract. The video speaks for itself.
