>> Antuan Goodwin: Hi, I'm Antuan Goodwin with CNET Car Tech and we're live on the floor at CES 2009. We've got an [inaudible] VM9423 Head Unit in here. Now first of all, we've got a lot of good digital audio options. What comes with this unit is a cool little media link breakout box that has your AV inputs, your mini jack input, a USB port and a dedicated jLink iPod connection. That's going to give you a full speed access to all of your music on your iPod. Now this unit also gives you the option of either controlling your iPod with the on screen interface or with a passenger control mode. Other audio sources include the DVD player that's built in which is going to allow you to playback movies and also listen to music. You've also got a really cool SD card slot back here so you have that option of adding new information there. Now this unit has a full navigation system built in and it also has HD radio built in just like pretty much every unit on Audiovox's line for 2009 is going to have HD radio built in. Now you combine HD radio with iPod integration and you get iPod to iTunes tagging which basically means if you hear a song on HD radio and you've got the track information up, you can tap a button, it will tag the song to your iPod and allow you to download it later. Bluetooth hands free is also built in so you'll be able to make your phone calls and you can also add a backup camera. And right now we've got a wireless model installed for seeing what's behind you and basically keeping yourself safe. The interface on this unit is actually really cool. I like the aesthetic. I like the colors and it's very easy, very responsive. You click a button, you get an instant response. And we really like that. Because of all these cool features are built into this unit, we don't really hesitate in recommending it. It's pretty much got everything that a techie would need in an in-dash receiver. I'm Antuan Goodwin with CNET Car Tech and we're live on the floor at CES 2009.
