FOR MANY IPHONE USERS LIKE MYSELF, I GET INCREDIBLY JEALOUS THAT PALM PRE USERS GET TO SYNC THEIR CONTACTS FROM FACEBOOK WITH EASE. HI, I'M WILSON TANG FROM CNET.COM AND I'VE GOT A WAY TO SYNC UP YOUR FRIEND'S FACEBOOK PROFILE IMAGES WITH YOUR IPHONE AND ADDRESS BOOK. WHILE THERE ARE SEVERAL EASY TO USE SOLUTIONS LIKE GOOGLE SYNC AND ITUNES BUILT-IN ADDRESS BOOK SYNCING TO KEEP YOUR CONTACTS IN ORDER, THERE'S STILL NO EASY WAY TO SYNC UP YOUR FRIEND'S PICTURES FROM FACEBOOK UNTIL NOW. IT'S CALLED ADDRESSBOOKSYNC AND ITS ONLY AVAILABLE FOR MAC. YOU CAN FIND IT AT THIS URL (DANAUCLAIR.COM/ADDRESSBOOKSYNC.COM) OR BY SEARCHING GOOGLE. ONCE YOU INSTALL AND LAUNCH THE PROGRAM, IT WILL ASK YOU FOR YOUR FACEBOOK CREDENTIALS AND THEN ATTEMPT TO SYNC YOUR CONTACTS BASED ON NAME. NOW, WE'VE HAD SOME PROBLEMS WHERE THE PROGRAM WILL LOCK UP, BUT USUALLY RESTARTING THE APP ONCE OR TWICE DOES THE TRICK. WHAT'S GREAT ABOUT THE PROGRAM IS THAT IT WILL GRAB YOUR FRIENDS CURRENT FACEBOOK PROFILE IMAGES AND GIVE YOU THE OPTION TO USE THAT OR ANOTHER IMAGE ALREADY IN YOUR ADDRESS BOOK. IT WILL ALSO GIVE YOU THE OPTION TO IMPORT OTHER DATA LIKE BIRTHDAY AND LOCATION. KEEP IN MIND TWO THINGS, YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO SYNC EMAIL ADDRESSES AND PHONE NUMBERS. FACEBOOK'S TERMS OF SERVICE DON'T ALLOW FOR THAT FOR THIRD PARTY APPS. THE SECOND THING IS THAT THE PROGRAM WILL ALSO ALLOW YOU TO IMPORT PEOPLE FROM FACEBOOK INTO YOUR ADDRESS BOOK IT COULDN'T FIND MATCHES FOR, SO YOU'RE OLD HIGH SCHOOL BUDDY CAN FIND HIS WAY INTO YOUR ADDRESS BOOK. THE NEXT TIME YOU SYNC YOUR IPHONE WITH ITUNES, IT SHOULD ADD THEIR PROFILE PICTURE TO THE CONTACT INFORMATION. AND THE NEXT TIME THEY CALL, THEIR MUG OR INAPPROPRIATE FACEBOOK IMAGE WILL SHOW UP. HOPE THIS HELPS YOU FROM GETTING TOO JEALOUS OF YOUR FRIENDS WITH THE PALM PRE. I'M WILSON TANG WITH CNET.COM/
