>> Well, start with a car you can not keep in showrooms today then add the most buzz-worthy power plant in auto dome today, electric and here it is the Mini E. It's not for sale yet it's still a concept but they're gonna put 500 hundred of these guys out in a special lease fleet. In California, New York, and New Jersey for a few lucky real people to lease at $850 a month for the right to have arguably the coolest car on the block right now. Now, the bottom line is charging and range, you get 150 miles out of a full charge, again, it's pure electric not a hybrid, that charge will take you most of overnight to do out of a standard outlet or they're gonna equip each one of these with a special wall charger that uses higher current to charge the car in a little over 2 hours, again, still 150 mile range. Check out the backseat, yeah, there isn't one that's where the batteries live on this special fleet of testers, that wouldn't be the case in production. But if you want to look forward to where the future's going to be it's cars that used to be 4 cylinder econo-boxes, perhaps, moving to the next stage of Greenness, being electric. ^E00:01:07
