>> Hey everyone, welcome to Tekzilla Daily, I'm Veronica Belmont. Enbedding a YouTube video is a great way to spread of our video, poignant message or silly song. What if the video you want to post doesn't become interesting until it's half way through -- yeah, tends to happen a lot. Wouldn't it be great if you could have the video start at a specified point instead? Well, you can and it's actually pretty easy. Within the embed code, you'll have to find the URL of the video itself. Once you do, just add "&start=" followed by the point you want the video to start in seconds. And if you just want to link to the video, you can do that too. For example if you wanna link to a video and have it start at 3 min 14 seconds, just add "#t=3m14s" simple as that. The next time you embed a video in your blog, you can treat your audience to the main attraction without forcing them to skip ahead. Now if you have a tip or trick that you wanna share, then e-mail us at tekzilla@revision3.com. And don't forget tekzilla.com, it's "the place" to find more tips, tricks, product reviews and how-tos. ^M00:01:07
So many YouTube videos are full of fluff and have just a few seconds of gold. On today's Tekzilla Daily, Veronica shows you how to embed or link to a video that will start at a specified point, and no third-party programs are necessary!
