The video was very "choppy", including the voice transmission. I'm running XP Pro SP2 with 1G RAM

Funky Video Playback...
by JerryGilliland August 31, 2007 4:53 PM PDT
I used to be able to watch all the video content on CNet with no problem. But in the last week or so, the video stops and starts. I know it's not my computer because I have no problem viewing streaming video on any other favorite site. I don't know what's happened, but it's very disappointing.

Had a little trouble with download speed. It kept stopping. Any way to download ahead of playing?

Keep up the good work. Andy

I can not load Flash 8 or later
by mobepe September 4, 2007 7:13 PM PDT
I always get : We've detected that you need to upgrade or install Flash 8 or later to view CNET TV and our library of thousands of tech videos. Installing Flash is fast, free, and easy! Simply follow the instructions from your browser, or click here to install/upgrade the free Flash player.

Thanks,
The CNET TV Team.

IT HAPPENS TO MY PC 5 MONTHS AGO AND I DONīT KNOW WHAT TO TO, I ALREADY TRIED TO LOAD IN MANY DIFERENT SITES AND THE PROBLEM PERSIST, I THOUGHT THAT DOWNLOADING FLASH FROM YOUR SITE COULD CANGE THE SITUATION, BUT NOT. SO I DID NOT SEE ANY VIDEO. (PLEASE HELP ME).

Full-screen
by temujin khan September 5, 2007 4:26 AM PDT
I loved the fact of going to ''cnet TV today'' and loading it in full-screen.
But now cnet TV 2.0 doesn't allow me that luxury anymore.
I hope the Alpha version will have the function.

It's great as always otherwise.
Thanks. Temujin

The new CNet.com format -problem w/video playback
by johnltr19 September 17, 2007 7:23 PM PDT
I like the layout in general, altough it is a little cluttered. But, before the change, I never had a problem with video playback. Now it never plays through smoothly. I think that the buffering function is not working properly. I have lots of PC resources, so I don't think the problem is on my side.

New Cnet.com format-problem w/video playback

I like the new layout, lots of information & options once I got used to it.
My problem is that before the change, videos played without a problem. Now, they stall & don't play through without stuttering. I think the problem may be with buffering, since I have a lot of resouces on my PC.
