Comments on: Make your own batteries (out of other batteries)

Turn a 9-volt battery into six AAAs and a 12-volt battery into eight button cells.

Actually, the batteries inside the 9-volt battery are AAAA not AAA.

Are these actually the size of AAAA (4xA) batteries? I recently looked a pen-style flashlight on Amazon from Streamlight that uses AAAA batteries, this would be useful to know for sure.

Thanks for the tip.

Hey!

Nice. I was also looking for a laptop battery last weak and contacted http://www.12-volt-battery.com/ as one of my friend referred them.

They really offered nice services.I was really amazed by their hospitality!

Thanks,

Angela

Someone should point out that this only works with alkaline batteries not the cheap carbon-zinc ones. Those are filled with an electrode paste not cells. It will say on the box what kind they are.
