I wonder how many viewers recognize the Robot on screen behind from the classic "Doctor Who" series ... the story called, well... "Robot". lol It was also the story that introduced the newly regenerated and iconic be-scarfed 4th Doctor (Tom Baker) whose record run from 1974-1980 would forever cement him in the minds of even those that have never seen the programme as "THE Doctor".

I love hedonism bot from futurama, I think he should've been at least 5th. But the list is pretty cool, Rosie, Robot, Cylon, Bender, & Data. There really aren't too many tv robots that have had much success, though lingo died rather to quickly.
